Monitor Pass, Alpine Lake & Topaz Lake

I took the 36-mile drive on Routes 89 and 4 from Topaz Lake on the main highway up over Monitor Pass to fly the charming Lake Alpine. The charming little lake is only at 7,350 feet, so it was safe to put the drone in the air without having it fall out of the sky in thin air.

This is a busy place in the Summer, but when I came in the Fall I had it almost to myself.
