August 2021—This trip to Twin Falls and the Sawtooth Mountains in northern Idaho was scheduled to occur during mild Summer weather. What I did not foresee was immense wildfires in California, Oregon and Washington State. Prevailing winds brought heavy palls of smoke across Idaho almost every day I was there.
