12 Seal Rock

Seal Rock is a formation and park on the Pacific Coast Highway South of the Devil’s Punch Bowl. I couldn’t get a clear day to fly here, but the formation is dramatic in any weather. The beaches extend for miles on either side of Seal Rock, so the formation is a natural gathering place for sea birds.

For that reason I was careful to stay far enough away to see the entire formation and at the same time not disturb the sea birds.
