The cape and surrounding bays lie in the southwestern suburbs of Coos Bay. This was the one morning of my entire visit when the Cape was not deep in fog, so I flew the drone out to the Chief’s Island and its lighthouse.
The little lighthouse has a colorful history!
On the return flight I paused to look in at busy Sunset Bay, with many visiting cars.For easiest viewing in full screen, just click the little four-cornered icon next to ‘Vimeo’ and then press ‘play’ when you have the full screen version.
