5 The Oregon Coast West of Portland

This gorgeous stretch of coast is just over an hour’s drive from Portland.  The weather was perfect, so I went out there and flew near Haystack rock, only to find in the middle of my flight that the rock has been declared off-limits for drones to keep the birds from being disturbed.  Upon being notified by a friendly volunteer, I brought the drone down, but was delighted to have all this as a memento.
