7 Newberry Crater Volcanic ParkPaulina Creek FallsThis pair of falls is found as we enter the Newberry Crater Volcanic Park. Paulina Creek flows directly out of the West Paulina Lake. Since there is such direct visual access to the falls, I didn’t use the drones.
West Paulina Lake And Paulina PeakThis is the westernmost of the two lakes below Paulina Peak. It is a beautiful recreation area, located just outside the town of La Pine, on the outskirts of the Cascade Lakes region. Despite it being June, the road up to the crest of Paulina Peak was still closed. |

East Paulina LakeAnother exquisite lake nestled below Paulina Peak. The beach areas of both lakes are sufficiently limited that they should never be really crowded. |
