Custer State Park

Custer State Park is found South of Rapid City, South Dakota. It has a wildlife circuit, where I saw the bison pictured.
Mount Rushmore, the Crazy Horse Memorial and the Custer State Park (which includes the Needles Highway) are all within an area perhaps forty miles across. Any of these can be reached within a half-hour drive from Rapid City.
The two lakes shown here are both within the state park Sylvan Lake welcomes many visitors each weekend during the Summer season, while Stockade Lake is less visited and less developed.
