Lower & Upper Enterprise Lakes

Enterprise Lake is a reservoir complex with two bodies of water, located near the town of Enterprise, Utah.

Lower Enterprise Lake At the smaller of the two lakes (Lower Enterprise Lake), I was fortunate to find some protection as the wind began to blow.The drone flights over Lower Enterprise Lake were risk-free because of the hills around me. I returned two weeks later. The snow had disappeared, and I was able to fly the drone comfortably from next to the dam.

Upper Enterprise Lake
This is the upstream lake of the Enterprise complex, some thirty miles North of St. George, Utah. The first time I visited, snow was on the ground (final panorama) and the wind had come up when I wanted to fly the drone. So, I decided to come back two weeks later and lucked into a sunny, windless day. On that second visit, the lake had some fishermen visiting in ATVs down on the shoreline. I flew the Phantom out above the lake and got a soaring bird's-eye view of them. Very scenic.
