3 Devil's Canyon Overlook

This is a wonderful, isolated spot in the Bighorn Canyon National Recreation Area. It is found an hour’s drive northeast of Cody in a remote, rather barren spot just across the state line in–Montana.

Most weekdays, you might find a car or two here—or nobody at all. That makes the drama of the view more intimate and personal. When I launched the drone, I hoped that the raptors shown in the sign here would leave it alone for a few minutes until I could land it. Raptors are natural predators for drones.

Fortunately, my guardian angels were on duty and alert, so the drone landed without incident. Enjoy the views!
