Masterpieces of Nature, Volume IV is the fourth installment of Carl Roessler’s explorations of the national parks and national monuments of the southwest. Carl’s travels have now taken him to nearly fifty parks in California, Nevada, Utah and Arizona. In this volume, he travels to northeastern Utah and southern Wyoming, then to a number of sites in western Colorado during the height of the Fall color change of foliage. Several of the scenes are so vast that they require double-page spreads, and all are in an expansive and intense palette of contrasting colors.
