Masterpieces of Nature, Volume V is the fifth installment of Carl Roessler’s explorations of the national parks and national monuments of North America. His travels have taken him to more than fifty parks in California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Arizona and now Canada. For this volume he traveled North across the border into the Canadian Rockies . From Waterton Lakes National Park he drove northwestward to the 1890s silver-lode country, then eastward on the Trans-Canada Highway to Yoho, Jasper and Banff National Parks.
The book is profusely illustrated, with a number of double-page spreads of enormous vistas.
