This is the largest reservoir and dam, more than 60 miles from Mesa and Phoenix. The dam is spectacular, the bridge is dramatic, and the lake is huge. Add to that a dramatic section of the salt River (in a separate gallery) and you have a place worth twenty miles of ugly road to reach.
