1 Escalante And The Most Beautiful Road In America

I visited Escalante Fall 2010 a few years ago, and covered it as a region of profound history in early America and specifically photographed the Road to show off its color and natural beauty.

This time I was passing through on the way to Capitol Reef National Park, but hoping to get some good drone photography at the Devil’s Garden.

The remains of a hurricane affected some of the roads significantly, making any place South of Devil’s Garden very hard to reach. So, I flew over the Garden and the local reservoir/park, then drove the Hogback Road and Burr Trail (shown in the next gallery).
